Reader in Power Electronics at Loughborough University, in the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST), working on power electronics, renewable energy, energy storage, machine drives, and microgrids. He moved to academia after more than six years in UK industry, holds a PhD from Heriot-Watt University, and is an IEEE Senior Member and Chartered Engineer. At AIPE Labs he reviews published technical content for accuracy and engineering rigour.
